A cohort-based rollout brings employees through the Develop experience together, creating shared language and momentum. Use this phased plan to guide your approach.

Days 1–30: Kickoff & Assessment

  • Assign Develop to the cohort

  • Host a live kickoff or send a pre-recorded intro

  • Emphasize: This is about development, not evaluation

  • Share sample profiles and answer common questions

Goal: >80% complete the assessment

Days 31–60: Results Activation

  • Encourage employees to explore their results and set 1 personal development goal

  • Train managers on using results in 1:1s (optional: provide conversation guides)

  • Offer optional drop-in support sessions or open office hours

Encourage managers to reference results in at least one 1:1

Encourage employees to bring a development goal to their next performance calibration or check-in with their manager.

Days 61–90: Reinforcement & Planning

  • Invite teams to use team reports (if available)

  • Host a development-focused team meeting or workshop

  • Share usage stats with managers to nudge participation

Encourage action plan updates or reflections

Tips for Success

  • Keep communication frequent, short, and supportive

  • Track action plan creation, 1:1 usage, and team-level conversations

  • Celebrate early adopters and share wins across cohorts

  • Schedule manager and employee follow-up to revisit goals and update action items
