As a manager, your natural strengths and growth areas shape how your team communicates, collaborates, and navigates change.

Your Develop results aren’t just for self-reflection - they influence the tone, habits, and culture of your entire team.

Why Your Strengths Matter

  • You Model What Matters: If you’re naturally high in Influence or Teamwork, your team may look to you to set the tone in communication and collaboration.

  • You Shape Priorities: If you value planning and structure (e.g., high Organization and Planning), your team may mirror that approach.

  • You Create Norms: Whether you're more adaptable or stability-seeking, how you navigate change affects how others respond too.

Reflect and Adjust

  • Which of your strengths show up most in how you lead?

  • Are there areas where your lower-effort traits might unintentionally create blind spots for your team?

  • Where could modeling vulnerability or growth help others stretch?

Lead with Intention

  • Share your own Develop insights with your team if you feel comfortable - this builds trust and models transparency.

  • Use team culture insights to start conversations: “I tend to move quickly to decisions - how is that working for you all?”

A strong team culture starts with self-awareness. When you understand how your natural style shapes the team, you can lead more intentionally and inclusively.
