Develop isn’t just a tool for individual insights - it’s a platform for stronger teams. As a manager, you can use Develop to build self-awareness, guide growth, and reduce friction across your team.


Ways to Support Your Team

1. Individual Development

  • Review each team member’s spotlight attributes to understand what comes easily - and what takes more effort.

  • Use this understanding to assign work thoughtfully, offer the right kind of support, and set meaningful goals in 1:1s.


2. Role and Strength Alignment

  • Match project tasks to people’s natural strengths when possible (e.g., someone high in Organization and Planning could lead logistics).

  • Acknowledge when someone is succeeding in a high-effort area - this shows care and reinforces growth.


3. Team Collaboration

  • Share select team report insights to foster shared understanding.

  • Use data to address tension points: “We all score lower in Stress Tolerance - how can we handle this busy season more intentionally?”


4. Normalize Differences

  • Emphasize that everyone has different energy zones. This isn’t about right vs. wrong, but about working smarter together.
