What Is the Action Planner?
The Action Planner is a built-in tool in Wonderlic Develop that helps you take your insights and turn them into focused, achievable goals.
It’s simple by design - because small, intentional actions are the building blocks of lasting growth.
Why Use the Action Planner?
Develop is about more than self-awareness - it’s about applying what you learn to grow in ways that are both realistic and aligned with your role.
The Action Planner helps you:
Pick a trait to focus on
Write a goal tied to that trait
Commit to one next step
You can create goals around Critical, Most Effort, or Least Effort attributes - or even align them with your Interests.
What Makes a Good Goal?
In Develop, a good goal is:
Behavior-based – Focused on what you’ll do, not just what you’ll achieve
Sustainable – Something you can repeat or build on
Tied to your effort profile – So it’s grounded in how you actually work
Example: "To reduce decision fatigue (Most Effort), I’ll use a template for evaluating options before key meetings."
How to Use It
Go to the Action Planner tab in your Develop dashboard
Choose an Attribute to focus on
Add a goal and describe your next step
Revisit and update your plan as you make progress

You don’t need to set a huge goal - a simple, repeatable habit is often more effective and easier to sustain.
